A private roof terrace at blue hour, the harbour beyond

Private residences · Greater Boston

Luxury hotel service. A home's privacy.

Whole homes, staffed around the clock, by the night. Everything is ready before you arrive, and nothing is asked of you after.

Opening 2027 Boston

The idea

A hotel gives you service and takes your privacy. A rental gives you privacy and takes the service. Ostwyn keeps both — a whole home, with a staff that is already in residence before you arrive.

The residences

Whole homes. Whole floors.

Whole-floor homes in a handful of Boston houses — your own entry, kitchen, bedrooms and terrace. Nothing is shared except the staff. Exact addresses are shared on booking.

The Harbour House — an ink-blue entry, bay and garden
By the water · minutes from Logan

The Harbour House

An ink-blue house on a quiet street with the harbour at the end of it — ten minutes from the airport, twenty from downtown. The top floor keeps a private roof terrace.

The Scholars House — a white clapboard house at dusk
Near Harvard · on the T

The Scholars House

A short walk to the Red Line and minutes from Harvard and Cambridge. From a garden flat to a penthouse duplex with an office and a roof deck.

The staff

Ask, and it is done.

Every Ostwyn residence comes with its own staff — Aura, the house manager; a concierge; and human hands for the linen, the kitchen and the garden. Speak to Aura the way you would to a good concierge: a table at nine, the heating up a notch, a car to the airport. It happens, and then the house goes quiet again.

  • Arrive late. The lights are low, the room is warm, the bath is drawn.
  • Ask anything. A table at nine. The forecast. Where the good coffee is.
  • Leave nothing. No checkout, no keys, no questions.

Welcome mode

Send us a list and the fridge is stocked. Tell us a time and the bath is drawn. The playlist you sent is already on, low.

Scenes

One word, whole house

“Evening”, “Film”, “Guests”, “Away.” Lights, blinds, music and warmth move together. You never touch a switch.

Concierge

Anything, any hour

Tables, cars, tickets, a late pharmacy, a doctor at two in the morning. Ask the house; a person makes it happen.

Sleep

Goodnight

Doors check themselves, lights fall, the room settles to sixty-six, blackout comes down. Morning brings it all back up, slowly.

Housekeeping

Only when you say

Name a time and the house is reset while you are out. Say nothing and nobody comes in. Fresh linen at the door, if you prefer.

Privacy

Yours, entirely

No cameras. Nothing recorded. Aura answers to her name from the tablet in the hall — say “privacy” and she is off until you call again.

Your stay

How it goes.

  1. 01

    Reserve

Choose a residence and your dates. A person confirms within a day and sends the address, the door code and a short note about the house.

  2. 02

    Tell us about you

Pillows, coffee, allergies, the names of the children, what time you like the blinds to rise. The house learns it once.

  3. 03

    Arrive

Your own door, your own code, any hour. The home is set the way you asked. Nobody is waiting in the hall.

  4. 04

    Live

Ask Aura for whatever you need, or ask for nothing. Housekeeping only when you say. The city is minutes away; the house is always here.

  5. 05

    Leave

Walk out. The house notices nothing and sends nothing. Your preferences are kept for next time, if you want them to be.

By the water

The Harbour House

A quiet street with the harbour at the end of it. A beach walk before breakfast, lobster rolls by the pier, and Logan ten minutes away when it is time to go. Downtown in twenty.

Near Harvard

The Scholars House

A short walk to the Red Line. Harvard Square, Cambridge bookshops and the river in minutes; the downtown skyline from the roof at night. The whole city without a car.

Materials

Honed stone, fumed oak, bronze, bouclé and linen. Light in coves, never in your eyes. Linen that was ironed this morning.

Privacy

No lobby. No front desk. Your residence has its own door, and the staff do not come through it unless you ask.

Stays

Questions

The practical part.

Is anyone else in the house?

Each residence is a whole floor with its own entrance. Other floors may be occupied by other guests; you share nothing but the building and the staff.

What does “staffed” mean?

Aura, the house manager, is an AI that lives in the home and answers to her name. Behind her is a human concierge team and housekeeping. You ask once; a person makes sure it happens.

Is there a minimum stay?

Three nights. Monthly and seasonal stays are welcome and priced separately — ask.

When is the address shared?

On confirmation. Our residences are private homes on quiet streets; we keep them that way.

Children, pets, parties?

Children, always. Well-behaved dogs by arrangement. No events or parties — these are homes, with neighbours.

Cancellation

Free cancellation until fourteen days before arrival. Between fourteen and seven days, half the stay is charged. Within seven days, the full stay. Full terms are in the terms of stay.

How private is the house?

No. There are no cameras and nothing is recorded. Aura responds only when you call her name, from the tablet in the hall. Say “privacy” and she is off until you call again.
